Benefits of Joining Our Community
Regular Member Meetings
Our member meetings are a hub for clinical consultation, support, and education in the field of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. Members connect with each other and themselves, fostering relationships and knowledge exchange. Together, our collective growth supports best practices in this field.
A Community of Practice
Our community fosters interconnectedness, co-regulation, and support, promoting professional excellence and compassionate care. We create a consistent, stable, nurturing space for members to explore the transformative potential of psychedelic therapy. Above all, client safety is our top priority. We advocate for their wellbeing throughout their therapeutic journey. Together, we illuminate new pathways towards healing and understanding.
Why Community?
At Pathkeepers, our purpose is firmly rooted in the protection and advancement of the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy. We believe that when practitioners are isolated or under-resourced, they become a risk to their clients, themselves, and the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Client and practitioner welfare is woven through everything we do, prioritizing safety and ethical conduct in a community-driven model of accountability and connection. Our ethical and professional standards are high, but those high standards are supported by a community that sincerely cares and mentors/supervisors who, with humility, hold themselves to the same standards. Ultimately, we believe that doing this work is a high calling, and nobody should be doing it alone.
Our Vision
Integrity
We prioritize the well-being of both clients and practitioners in the field of psychedelic therapy. Upholding stringent standards and advocating for safe, ethical practices is integral to our mission at Pathkeepers. We commit to not only promote but actually provide safe, equitable access to psychedelic-assisted therapy for underrepresented groups.
Support
We cultivate a positive, inclusive culture, and we value the power of a united, supportive community. Pathkeepers is a space where practitioners can connect, share, and grow together. We believe in fostering a strong sense of camaraderie, ensuring every member feels heard, respected, and valued.
Humilty
Our aim is to instill a spirit of open dialogue, continual learning, and mutual respect. We encourage cultural sensitivity and appreciate the rich diversity
within our community. We honour the Indigenous wisdom and other cultural traditions surrounding the use of psychedelic medicines. We seek guidance and direction from our elders and ancestors.
What is Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT)?
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy is an innovative approach in which psychedelic substances are administered in a safe, controlled environment for deep psychological healing. Trained therapists guide individuals through a 3-phase process including preparation and integration, enabling the exploration and resolution of emotional and psychological issues. PAT shows promise in treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders, often with remarkable results.

About our Founder
Claire is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and trauma therapist, with over 12 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Since 2021, she has been specializing in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, and teaches graduate courses on Addictions Counselling and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. Claire is passionate about supporting research in the field of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and is currently involved in two clinical trials.
As a trauma survivor, she found healing and transformation through psychedelic medicines like Ayahuasca, Psilocybin, MDMA and Ketamine, which inspired her exploration of the therapeutic use of psychedelics. Her practice primarily focuses on Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy, and she integrates various modalities including mindfulness, somatic therapies, and Internal Family Systems. Claire has a unique gift for holding the tension between highly rigorous standards of clinical safety with compassion, respect, and traditional wisdom. She is deeply grateful to the mentors and Indigenous teachers who have supported her journey, and who have played an integral role in making psychedelic healing accessible to others.
“When I listen to practitioners, I hear their longing for a genuine community and their fear about navigating their work with psychedelics. I hear – and share – their concerns – about the commodification of psychedelic healing. I too am concerned about the way that corporate interests can override ancient wisdom and what our souls know to be true: healers can’t stand alone; medicine this powerful requires the containers of community, accountability, humility, and intentional care.”
